"Guster at Brixton Academy LONDON ENGLAND!!!!! 5 NOV 04"
We went to see Maroon 5 at the Brixton Academy in London on 5 November 2004. You always wonder what the guest band will be like (sometimes you just stay in the bar when they're on stage don't you?!?!). However ............. Guster were fantastic. To be honest we could have listened to you for a lot longer and we will be going to our local record store to see if we can find albums. We will also be ordering the new EP online.

Just a final comment. Definitely keep the strobe lighting in!! You must have been able to tell from the audience reaction that it was fantastic and WE LOVED IT!

We wil be spreading the word of Guster wherever possible and have just emailed Sally's nephew in the Royal Engineers in Iraq telling him to check out the website.

We will be visiting this site regularly and hope to see some more comments and reviews from fellow Brits.

Hurry back to the UK Guster

I was also at the Brixton gig. I have to say that, while Maroon 5 were atrocious - pity Adam's voice isn't up there with his ego, Guster were pure pleasure. And I too went straight out to buy the album. Don't usually dis bands, each to their own and all, but I'm using the Maroon 5 CD as a bird scarer in my garden.

Come back to the UK soon guys.

Like sally and john, i too went to see Maroon 5 and although very entertaining indeed, almost Robbie williams esque in his ego, but his voice is no where near strong enough or as good, you go to a concert to be entertained, (you listen to the CD at home) and Maroon 5 certainly did that - some brilliant dramatic guitar crashes to end the songs, made it a good show

BUT, sorry but you were out done on the voice front by Guster - I would normally be at the bar for the support, but Guster drew me away and kept me right at the front - nearly stole the show, id say. And the Drummer? (animal form the Muppets?) in a class of his own

Keep the strobe lights - they take the emotion even higher.
